外国人労働者Foreign worker

原則として、日本国内で就労する限り、国籍を問わず日本の労働関係法令が適用されます。
労働基準法をはじめ、最低賃金法、労働安全衛生法、労働者災害補償保険法、職業安定法などは外国人にも適用されます。

As a general rule, Japanese laws concerning labor apply to all employees in Japan,regardless of nationality.
It means that the Labor Standards Law,the Minimum Wage Law,the Industrial Safety and Health Law,the Workers’ Accident Compensation Insurance Law,the Employment Security Law and others also apply to foreigners.

健康保険・厚生年金保険制度
この制度は、労働者やその家族が病気やケガをした時や老後の生活に備えて、収入に応じて保険料を出し、いざという時に医療や年金・一時金の給付を受けることによって、生活の安定を図ることを目的につくられたものです。
健康保険・年金制度は大きく分けると、「健康保険・厚生年金保険」と「国民健康保険・国民年金」の2種類があります。

Health Insurance System and Pension Insurance System
The purpose of these social insurance systems is to help employees maintain a stable life by providing them or their families with medical or pension benefits for an illness, injury, disability or post retirement. Insurance premiums are determined in accordance with an insured person’s income.
Japanese insurance and pension systems can be broadly divided into two groups. One is “the Health Insurance and Employees’ Pension Insurance, and the other is “the National Health Insurance and National Pension.”

退職についてResignation

退職について
労働者には職業選択の自由があり、退職することは労働者の自由です。とはいえ、退職するときはルールを守ることが求められます。
退職のルールは労働契約に期間の定めがある場合と、ない場合とで異なります。

Resignation
Individuals are guaranteed freedom in choice of their employment and are, therefore, free to resign from their employment anytime. An employee should, however, follow specified procedures when he or she chooses to leave a job.
The procedures for employees on a fixed-term contract are different from those for employees without a fixed-term contract.

男女雇用機会均等法Equal Employment Opportunity Act
for Men and Women

男女雇用機会均等法は、労働者が性別により差別されることなく、かつ、女性労働者にあっては、母性を尊重されつつ、その能力を十分発揮することができる雇用環境を整備するための法律で、規定が設けられています。

Equal Employment Opportunity Act for Men and Women is designed to create an employment environment in which employees are not discriminated based on gender and female employees can exercise their abilities with due respect for maternity, and the law sets the following stipulations.
